The Mellis Festival!

A wild and wonderful day (and evening) is planned for Saturday, 21st July 2012.

For the first time there will be, at the same time, the lovely Mellis Flower Festival in the Church and the equally lovely Mellis Beer Festival in the Tavern.

There will be several live bands playing everything from Folf and Bluegrass through to Rock n' Roll and beyond. With silent movies in the evening!

To say nothing of the craziest Dog Show in the county. Alongside children's entertainment and sports sideshows, the pie recipe contest, tug-o-war, living history salon, and, to the amazement of everyone, our very own Mellis Arts Exhibition - oh yes, and clog dancing too.

And then there's the phone box. Eat your heart out Dr Who - this one will really blow your mind!

What have I forgotton? Come and find out on Saturday 21st July from morning to night.

With best wishes from the Mellis Festival Team.

Please contact Angela on 01379 783783 if you would like to advertise in the Festival programme.
